How to Play Graw

Overview

Each card shows one letter and one score value. Cards are dealt to all players — the centre area (the Graw) starts empty.

Form valid words using cards from your hand combined with cards in the Graw. The player with the highest score wins.

On Your Turn

  • Claim a word — use 1–2 cards from your hand AND 1 or more cards from the Graw to spell a valid English word of 3+ letters. All used cards are removed from the game.
  • Discard — select exactly 1 card from your hand, then click Discard to Graw. That card moves to the centre.
  • Pass — only allowed when holding 2 or fewer cards.

Scoring

When you claim a word:

(sum of all card values used) × (word length) = points

Example: DRAW using D(2) + R(2) + A(1) + W(3) = 8 × 4 letters = 32 points

End of Game

The game ends when all players pass consecutively. The player with the highest score wins. Equal scores result in a tie.
